The 16th Sino-Russian Conference on Fundamental Problems of Aircraft Aerodynamics, Flight Dynamics, Strength and Flight Safety was Successfully Held in Beijing

From 15 to 17 October, the 16th Sino-Russian Conference on Fundamental Problems of Aircraft Aerodynamics, Flight Dynamics, Strength and Flight Safety, jointly organized by Chinese Aeronautical Establishment (CAE) and the Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI), was successfully held in Beijing. The conference involves keynote speeches, group discussions, the release of CAE-AVM, the high-level meeting and the renewal of the strategic cooperation agreement between the two sides. The event was attended by 12 experts from TsAGI and nearly 100 experts from Chinese aviation society including universities, research institutes and industrial companies. 38 papers on aerodynamics, strength and flight control were presented and discussed.

The high-level meeting was attended by Dr. Sun Xiasheng, Executive Vice President of CAE, Dr. Medvitsky, Chief Vice President of TsAGI, and managers from both institutes. It reviewed the previous cooperation, including the successful joint application for the BRICS intergovernmental cooperation project, and discussed the key areas for future cooperation, including the time and location of the 17th conference. After the meeting, a renewed bilateral strategic cooperation agreement was signed.
