The Overall Demonstration subject has become an advanced design technology synthesis that covers multi-disciplines and multi-professions. It involves: demand analysis and demonstration and use efficiency analysis, aircraft design, aerodynamic layout, load, stability and flight mechanics, overall system design, helicopter rotor dynamics and so on.
Aerodynamics includes research directions such as design aerodynamics, computational aerodynamics, and experimental aerodynamics. Its research areas mainly involves: aerodynamic layout design, component aerodynamic design, internal flow aerodynamics, aeroelastic force, aerothermal, aerodynamic noise control, icing sensitivity analysis and aerodynamic performance evaluation, multidisciplinary optimization focusing on maneuverability and stability as well as aerodynamic, wind tunnel design and so on.
The structural strength course mainly studies: advanced structural layout and optimization, functional design and simulation, digital model definition and data management, corrosion protection, load and environmental analysis, static/dynamic/fatigue/thermal strength analysis, flutter/aeroelastic analysis, vibration and noise control, component integrity assessment, etc.
With the technological progress and the push of various factors, the avionics system’s functional composition, functional synthesis and physical synthesis are becoming increasingly complex. It covers the technical researches in the fields of detection, navigation, communication, task processing and management, human-computer interaction, air traffic control and so on.
Flight control involves multidisciplinary theoretical basis and applied technology. It mainly deals with: control theory, aerodynamics and flight mechanics, reliability theory, artificial intelligence, information theory, operations research, electronic computer, software engineering, precision machinery, human factors engineering and simulation technology.
The electromechanical major mainly involves the researches on electromechanical system comprehensive design and verification, intelligent power system technology, efficient heat exchange and thermal protection technology, energy generation and control, life support technology and so on.
Flight test refers to scientific researches and product test activities carried out under flight conditions; It is a necessary step in exploring new concept and verifying new technology for aircraft, and is the key step of aircraft test, identification and airworthiness. It involves: mechanics, physics, mathematics, materials, environment and aeronautical medicine and other related disciplines.
This major is mainly about applied research of materials, technologies and manufacturing processes. It also conducts basic researches and application researches of metal materials, composite materials and non-metallic materials, and provides technical services such as design and selection database, manufacturing process database, material inspection and analysis, etc.
This field involves 2 majors: aviation testing technology and aviation support technology. Aviation testing technology mainly studies: performance/state awareness technology, integrated automatic testing technology, prediction and health management technology and so on. Aviation support technology mainly covers: maintenance/supply/training/equipment/information and other planning and design technology, information support technology, autonomous support technology, intelligent support technology and so on.
This field mainly deals with fundamental researches on reliability, testing, supports, maintenance, safety, electromagnetic compatibility, health management and standards, metrology, intelligence, airworthiness, environmental engineering, archives, intellectual property rights, Technical and economic and other technical basic research work.
